The Best Family Entertainment Comes to Grape Sox

June 6 • Opening Night with Rally the Mascot & Fireworks — Rally is the most crowd-friendly mascot in baseball — and he comes to town for a night of fun and fireworks as the GrapeSox kick off their inaugural season.

June 7 • Legends of the Game — A rare chance to get up close and personal with former Major League Baseball stars.

June 8 • Tokay High Ball Night — The softball and baseball teams at Tokay High will play a pre-GrapeSox softball game as the evening honors two great programs.

June 12 • Rotary Club Night — Rotary Clubs from all over the county will congregate at the ballgame.

June 13 • Country Night & Friday at Five Come early and relax as a live band gives us the music of Reba, Keith, Garth and Waylon. Friday at Five means the gates open at 5 and special food, live music and great companionship are featured. You’re invited to visit our main-entrance wine garden, the VIP Tent or let your kids play in the supervised Stomping Grounds. It all starts Friday at Five!

June 14 • Vintage Car Night — On Father’s Day weekend we’ll turn back the clock as cars from days gone by are featured along Washington Street in front of Zupo Field. Gates and the display open at 4:30 p.m.

June 15 • Bike Night — Whether you’re a Gold Wing enthusiast or a big supporter of the open-road lifestyle, bring your bike to the ballpark and show off.

June 19 • Grease — See Danny, Sandy, Frenchie and Rizzo rock between innings as area drama groups bring snippets of the great movie/stage play to life. Greased Lightning’, Baby!

June 20 • St. Paddy’s Night & Friday at Five — The green of the outfield will be matched by the green ‘o the beer as St. Patrick brings a little mid-summer luck with him. American Legion Post 22 does its corned beef and cabbage. Yum. And again, it all starts Friday at Five!

June 21 • Youth Sports Night — From high school football players to teeballers, wear your team’s jersey and get $2 off your ticket price at the gate. Soccer, baseball, basketball… As an added attraction, the GrapeSox will play two games this day — one free admission at 2:30 p.m. against Monterey, the other charged-admission ball at 7:05 p.m. against San Luis Obispo Blues.

June 22 • A&W Root Beer Bear Giveaway Night — The first 100 kids in the door receive the A&W Root Beer Bear figurine.

June 26 • Jazz/$2 Beer Night — Hear the greats — Dizzy, Miles, Coltran — as we remember their music before the game and between innings. Relax with a cold beer.

June 27 • Friday at Five Singles’ Night — Social groups from throughout San Joaquin County will have the opportunity to mingle before the night’s big, between-inning match ups. Love is in the air…

June 28 • Sport Vehicle & RV Night — Want to get away? See the RVs, boats, camper trailers and ATVs on display before this Sierra Baseball League game against the Sacramento Legends. Lots of neat adult toys this night!

June 29 • American Legion Night — Lodi’s Post 22 American Legion baseball team will be featured in a 3 p.m. game before the GrapeSox conclude their Sacramento series at 6:05 p.m. Come see the future of area baseball.

July 1 • Blues/$2 Beer Night — It’s a lazy summer night. Come to the ballpark to hear B.B., Luther and Muddy’s best playing in the background as you watch baseball and knock off a cold one. What a way to cool off.

July 2 • Holiday Fireworks — Look up! The sky’s ablaze with a patriotic display.

July 10 • Green Night — Besides a bicycle giveaway, various area environmental companies and services will be providing energy-saving information, giveaways and displays.

July 11 • Oktoberfest & Friday at Five Not going to Germany this year? Can’t wait for October? Enjoy your beer and brats at Tony Zupo Field. Ummm Pah, Pah!

July 12 • Sierra Baseball League All-Star Game — Watch the stars of tomorrow as the SBL host its inaugural All-Star Game. The top players and prospects from throughout the West will show their skills in this showcase.

July 13 • La Fiesta — Mariachis, salsa musica, the best Mexican food on the planet featuring arts and crafts booths. This afternoon-long celebration leads up to the 6:05 p.m. GrapeSox game against the East LA Dodgers.

July 16 • Two-for-One Night — Doubleheader. Two hot dogs, two sodas, two tickets — all for the price of one. It’s the GrapeSox doubling the fun.

July 17 • Police & Fire Night — See the big hook-and-ladder, S.W.A.T. equipment and all the vehicles of Lodi emergency services groups. As a bonus, the night starts early with the Fire Department playing the Police Department in a softball game!

July 18 • Christmas in July with Friday at Five Old Saint Nick comes to town

to make his list. Celebrate Christmas in July as Santa Claus sends his helpers through the stands with early holiday gifts! Oh, also enjoy our between innings Christmas tree lighting.

July 19 • Scout Night — A special night at the park with Scouts from throughout the region. Kids come and enjoy the game, then enjoy a night with the GrapeSox players as we camp out overnight on the field.

July 20 • History of Lodi Baseball— Join us to honor the history of baseball in Lodi. Join our Local Legends of the Game as they return for a night of historic celebration.

July 24 • Mascot Olympics — All your favorite regional mascots will be there competing in very non-traditional games between innings. Meet these fan friendly folks, get pictures taken with them, then root for your favorites!

July 25 • Wine Festival Weekend kicks off with Friday at Five Wines from throughout the region are featured in a unique setting that surrounds the great game of GrapeSox baseball. Live music until game time.

July 26 • Wine Festival continues — Whether you’re relaxing at our cozy Vineyard Courtyard (behind the Grandstand) or down the line lounging in the Stomping Grounds, our area’s best wines are being sampled and served.

July 31 • REAL Diamond Night — Every woman in attendance will receive a gift gem, one of which is a real diamond. Take your evening’s gift to our sponsor jeweler and see if you’re the lucky one!

August 1 • Mini Bat Night & Friday at Five Fans in attendance receive a mini-bat to commemorate the inaugural Lodi GrapeSox season. Remember, the music starts at 5 p.m.

August 2 • Fireworks Finale — A great night with the last of three fireworks’ displays and more great Sierra Baseball League action at Tony Zupo Field.

August 3 • Fan Appreciation Night — Win some really big grand prizes or a shopping spree or one of a dozen other prizes as the GrapeSox and its sponsors thank you, the fans, for your support.

August 8-10 • SBL Championship Series
