Stevie Mac, President/CEO

Stevie Mac is the Founder and CEO of the Lodi Grapesox. It is his vision that made the GrapeSox a reality, and it was his idea to bring baseball back to historic Tony Zupo Field.

Besides Lodi, Mac is the founder of the Sierra Baseball League. In 2008, he accomplished what a lot of people said could not be done – the formation of a true “Super League” in the West to feature the top professional baseball prospects from around the United States. As part of that vision, Mac also owns the marquee franchise in the West, the San Luis Obispo Blues, as well as the franchise rights to Clarke Field in Woodland. Mac’s focus is to capture the rich tradition of baseball in the smaller communities throughout the Western part of the country. This philosophy is reflected in the Sierra Baseball League franchises – Lodi’s tradition began in 1911 and pro baseball came to Lodi in 1946; San Luis Obispo has been playing since the early 1930’s; Santa Maria, one of the storied franchises in California, has been in existence for 60-plus years; and the Humboldt Crabs were established in the 1940’s.

Mac is a sports talk show host who grew up in a family of great athletes. Mac’s brother John was an outstanding pitcher in college, another brother Dave was a college soccer player, and his cousin was the starting catcher at the University of Texas who was later drafted by the old Montreal Expos. His niece, Amanda, is a State Champion in soccer, and another niece, Erin, is one of the nations top Show Jumpers. Though he was a fine player himself, Mac’s love of the game flourished during a 24-year coaching career that spanned into three decades. Though you can hear Mac’s voice on the airways of ESPN Radio, Mac’s passion is America’s pastime -- the GrapeSox and the Sierra Baseball League fulfill a lifelong dream of the owner.

A graduate of Oregon State University, Mac is married to the former Angela Tatem. They have three daughters, Devin, McKinley, and Baylee.

Bruce Gallaudet, General Manager.

Bruce Gallaudet holds down the position of General Manager of the GrapeSox. He is the glue that holds the model together, and you will see him all over town talking about the Lodi GrapeSox Baseball Club.

Gallaudet started his career as a newspaper man. A former editor and publisher of the Fairfield newspaper, Gallaudet began his baseball career as the General Manager of the Solano Thunderbirds. Gallaudet was instrumental in the Thunderbirds success at Travis Credit Union Park. During his tenure, the Vacaville-based Thunderbirds routinely drew 2,000 fans or more a night, and it was Gallaudet’s idea to feature Friday Night Lights, showcasing the State of California’s top high school baseball teams.

In Lodi, Gallaudet is in charge of all operations related to the ball club. Though he oversees the GrapeSox staff, Gallaudet’s mark on the club can be seen every summer as the GrapeSox feature their zany promotional nights. Summer St. Paddy’s Day; Christmas in July; and the Father’s Day Car Show are just a few of the great promotions Gallaudet and his staff will feature each season.

Bruce Gallaudet is married and has two children, a son and a daughter.
